The Port of Tilbury handles the full range of cargoes with specialist expertise in the handling of paper and forest products, containers & Ro Ro, grain and bulk commodities and construction and building materials. The port offers customers excellent transport links to and from the capital and across the South East where over 50% of the population live and work.

There is over 500,000 square metres of warehouse space around the port, mainly managed by major logistics companies. Unsurprisingly for a location with about 18 million people living within 75 miles, and at the intersection of the Thames and the M25, the strategic location means a lot of the big names have sites there offering shunt and destuffing for containers, short and long term warehousing, fulfilment and transport and distribution services.

There is a small amount of secure outdoor space available as well and Stowga have placed clients who import stone in some of these sites. It offers incredibly good value for money if you can find it.
