Luton Airport is 29 mi (47 km) north of Central London. The airport is 2 mi (3.2 km) from Junction 10 of the M1 motorway. It is the fourth-largest airport serving the London area and the fifth busiest airport in the UK. Luton Airport Cargo Centre handles around 28,000 tonnes of cargo each year.

The area is very popular for storage and logistics. At Stowga we get a lot of requests for warehouses in the Luton/Stevenage/Hemel Hempstead area and there are a number of great 3PL and warehousing companies in the area. Prices for bulk and pallet storage can be quite high as this is obviously a key strategic location near the airport, London and the major motorways all nearby.
