Keadby is situated on the west side of the River Trent, just off the A18 west of Scunthorpe. The Port of Keadby is located on the River Trent with ease of access to the open sea via the Humber Estuary. The port handles commodities such as forestry products and dry bulk cargoes, but really it's all about steel in Keadby: supply, handling and storage. The area is also a stocking point for a range of imported steel products.
Keadby has transport links with motorways, the M180, M62 East/West and the M1 North/South.
Air freight facilities are available at nearby Humberside Airport.
The dock estate has 42,800 sq ft of covered warehousing and significant open storage areas. There are a number of third party logistic (3PL) companies along the Trent going up to Scunthorpe providing bulk and pallet storage, value add services such as pick and pack, fulfilment, pallet networks and distribution services.
