The Port of Hartlepool is on the North East coast of England, three miles away from Teesport. The port has bulk cargo facilities alongside principally serving the oil and gas sectors and the renewable offshore wind energy market.

The port itself has five general cargo berths, handling products such as steels, dry cargo and project cargoes. All berths having a depth alongside of 8 metres LAT and there is specially designed heavy lift quay area for out of gauge cargoes. At the waterside on the dock estate there is almost one million sq ft of covered warehousing and substantial open storage areas.

The Port has a direct rail freight link. By road the A179 and the A689 both link to the A19 and from there on to the A1 (M). Along the A689 there is a BRC accredited site for warehousing food and drink. For bulk and pallet storage there are a couple of logistics and supply chain companies offering customs clearance, transport, container de-stuffing, van unloading, warehousing, fulfilment and other value-add services such as pick and pack. There is both racked and free standing storage space available through Stowga.
