Edinburgh Airport is Scotland’s busiest and the UK’s 6th busiest airport. It is primarily a passenger airport but it does handle a decent amount of cargo: 19.2k tonnes last year.

The Airport is 6 miles to the West of the capital and is well positioned for logistics. It is close by to the M8, which links to Glasgow; the M9, which runs up to Falkirk and thebeyond; and the M90, which leads to the Fourth Road Bridge and Fyfe. There are a cluster of logistics and transportation companies based to the South West in Newbridge and towards Grangemouth. Stowga have some sites with outdoor space in the area aswell that we have used to store stone. Prices for outdoor storage are about 35p per pallet per week. Logistics partners can provide transport for pick up and container de-stuff if required.
