Belfast International Airport (IATA: BFS, ICAO: EGAA) lies 13.2 miles (21.3 km) northwest of Belfast. It was formerly known and is still referred to as Aldergrove Airport, after the nearby village of Aldergrove, which lies immediately to the west. Nearly 4.4 million passengers travelled through the airport in 2015, a 9% increase compared with 2014. Belfast International is the busiest airport in Northern Ireland and the second busiest airport on the island of Ireland in terms of passenger numbers after Dublin Airport and is followed by Belfast-City, Cork and Shannon.
The area near the airport is well served for industrial warehouse space. Stowga have a number of sites in Antrim and along the M2 to Newtonabbey and around the outskirts of Belfast. There are a couple of BRC accredited sites along the M2 if you need a warehouse to store food and drink. Modern, racked warehouses can be found in good supply for pallet storage, particulalrly around the docks in Belfast.
There are also a number of MHRA warehouse sites in and around Belfast, and nearby in Lisburn, Comber and Whiteabbey.
