Belfast Harbour is Northern Ireland's principal maritime gateway and logistics hub. Last year 23 million tonnes were handled in total through the Harbour - approximately 70% of Northern Ireland's and 20% of the entire island's seabourne trade.

The area near the port is well served for industrial warehouse space. Stowga have a number of sites right on the waterfront as well as around the outskirts of Belfast. There are a couple of BRC accredited sites along the M2 if you need a warehouse to store food and drink. Modern, racked warehouses can be found in good supply for pallet storage, particulalrly around the docks in Belfast.

There are also a number of MHRA warehouse sites in and around Belfast, and nearby in Lisburn, Comber and Whiteabbey.

The Belfast Harbour Estate is home to many well-known Northern Ireland businesses such as George Best Belfast City Airport, Harland and Wolff, Bombardier Aerospace, Odyssey, the Northern Ireland Science Park, Titanic Quarter and Titanic Belfast. Belfast is only one of two ports on the island of Ireland to handle a full range of cargoes, from freight vehicles to containers, dry, break and liquid bulk, as well as passenger services and cruise calls.
